What's your real wealth?

( Matthew 6:24 )
This question was one of the given impromptu questions in our speech class. To be exact the question goes like this "Does real wealth is never measured in money or possessions?" According to Merriam-Webster dictionary the word wealth means abundance of valuable material possessions or resources. Yes, we could say that this is a valid definition for literal wealth, but how about our so called real wealth? Of course every person dreamed of being wealthy in terms of financial status, believed in a fact that money is important for you to survive in this modern world and being able to have the power of authority through possessions, but the truth is real wealth cannot be measured by any amount of money or possessions. It's true, for us to survive in this world, money is a necessity. But we must remember that money is only something to use but not to crave or to worship, necessary for our daily lives but definitely not something that should rule our lives. The Bible says that "you cannot serve two Masters at the same time" (GOD and Money) for either you will hate the one and love the other or else you would be devoted to the one and despise the other. What's the use of  you're money if you're alone. What's the use of  you're possessions in terms of land, cars, jewelries and other luxurious things if you're hurting other people. Real wealth cannot be measured only by  money or possessions, but can be measured by who you are and what you are as a person in the eyes of God. A person that truly knows the difference between money and happiness. The difference between authority and respect. And the difference between possession and love. You can measure your real wealth by asking yourself  the question "what kind of person I am and what are the good things I've done in this world?" And your answers, that's absolutely your real wealth.
